I’ve been using a new favorite hardware store. It’s pretty close to my home and they have everything I need at great prices.

While their items are not the highest quality, most are good enough to meet my needs. Ever since I retired professionally from wrenching, Snap-On has not been one of my requirements. Eye bolts & J.B. Weld are the same wherever you go. I also bought a much needed handy dandy impact screwdriver for $6.00. It works perfect and even came in a plastic storage case.

I saw that they have brand new OHV 6.5HP engines for $130.00. These are almost identical to the Honda brand that costs much, much more. Most of the parts are interchangeable. I’ve been using a knock-off engine like this on my generator for years. It’s still running fine but I know where to get a replacement should I ever need it.

I have neither a farm nor a fleet, but I do appreciate the shopping at the Blain’s store. They always have my favorite Levi’s jeans in stock at great prices.

The family took a trip to the Dells and on the way stopped by the world headquarters of Blain’s Farm & Fleet. It’s in Janesville WI. Their largest store is located there.

Along with my new jeans, 3 pair of Levi’s 550s, my daughter also picked out 3 great clothing items at 50% off.

She also snagged some designer pink Unicorn socks. Also 50% off.
