The Shures legendary New Years Eve party is getting ready to kick off again in Fancy Prairie Illinois. Live entertainment is being provided by the Laurenzana band rocking out the post office in the boonies.

We have come to the conclussion that along with reverting back to high school behavior, old people also do Internet. My 70+ Mother thinks a lot of them are crazy.
Sturgis Model Railroad

My cousin is a big time Harley loving guy. He has a sweet bike. He also has this super cool model railroad running the perimeter of his dining room ceiling. It’s modeled after Sturgis in the Black Hills.
All the scenery in this train layout was hand built by my cousin from scratch with common items. This includes the mountains, trees, shrubs, buildings, and everything else except the vehicles.
He even cut out and placed each individual leaf on the trees after building the trunks and branches.
