New Fuel Injectors

Five O Injectors

My 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited has reached a milestone this week. Should I trade it in? Or should I keep it? It’s got 132,000 miles and now needs some TLC in a few areas. It’s in good condition, I still like it, and I’ve had no car payment for a long time. I’ve decided it’s a keeper.

This week, I’m installing a new set of fuel injectors picked up from FiveO Motorsports. My engine is a port injected 318 cubic inch (5.2L) V8. I priced the injectors locally and was looking at $800+, but being a smart shopper, checked EBay and got the set of eight new ones for $260. After installing these, and with the recent complete ignition tune-up, the Jeepster is running like new again. The motor is in great shape and does not burn a drop of oil. I run synthetic.

Next on the list will be new exhaust, brakes, axels, and tires.

Stay tuned for more Jeep repairs / upgrades.
I’m going 200,000 baby.
Mopar Power!
